Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The results of the similarity check / plagiarism max 20%.
  • References from scientific journals published in the last 10 years and using a reference manager.
  • The manuscript is in accordance with the JPN template.
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Author Guidelines

General Writing Format
When submitting a manuscript, the author must follow the guidelines below.

  • The manuscript should be within the focus and scope of JPN Journal.
  • The author must make the account in JPN Journal
  • The manuscript is submitted online by following the step of Online Submission in the Online Journal Sytem
  • The manuscript is sent in Ms.Word format with the following conditions:
  • A4 paper (21 cm x 21,7cm) with the page margin;
  • The number of the manuscript words are between 3000 to 10000 words.
  • The script is written one column with Times New Roman font 12, except for the title of the manuscript (Times New Roman font 12).
  • The conjunctions (and, in, or with, as well, about, that, against, so, because, then, for the sake,) and prepositions (in, to, from, into, within, by, through) are written in lowercase.
  • Manuscript are written with the following regulations.

Structure of Manuscripts
Structure of manuscripts, the author must follow the guidelines below.

1. Title
The title of the manuscript is written with Times New Roman, font 14, aligned left. It contains uppercase in each first letter and bold and 1 space.

2. Author(s) Name
The name of the author is written with Times New Roman, font 12, aligned left. It contains uppercase in each first letter and bold.

3. Author(s) Affiliation
The affiliation of the author is written with Times New Roman, font 12, aligned left. It contains the name of the institution/organization/workplace/study place of the author.

4. Correspondence
Each email of the authors is written with Times New Roman, font 12, aligned left,

5. Abstract
The subheading “abstract” is written with Times New Roman, font 12, uppercase in the first letter and bold, aligned left. The content of the abstract is written with Times New Roman, font 12, justify aligned and 1 space . The manuscript abstract is written in English only.

6. Keywords
The word “Keyword” is written with Times New Roman, font 12, uppercase in the first letter italic bold, and aligned left and content of the “keyword” is written with Times New Roman, font 12, lower case, and aligned left.

7. Introduction
The word “Introduction” is written with Times New Roman, font 12, uppercase in the first letter, bold, and aligned left and the content of the “introduction” is written with Times New Roman, font 12, 1 space, and justify aligned.

8. Literature Review
The word “Literature Review” is written with Times New Roman, font 12, uppercase in the first letter, bold, and aligned left. The “Sub heading title” which represents the concept elaborated in the literature review is written with Times New Roman, font 12, uppercase in the first letter, italic, bold, and aligned left and the content of the “Literature Review” is written with Times New Roman, font 12, 1 space, and justify aligned

9. Method
The word “Method” is written with Times New Roman, font 12, uppercase in the first letter, bold, and aligned left and the content of the “method” is written with Times New Roman, font 12, 1 space, and justify aligned.

10. Findings
The word “Method” is written with Times New Roman, font 12, uppercase in the first letter, bold, and aligned left and content of the “method” is written with Times New Roman, font 12, 1 space, and justify aligned.

11. Discussion
The word “Discussion” is written with Times New Roman, font 12, uppercase in the first letter, bold, and aligned left and content of the “Discussion” is written with Times New Roman, font 12, 1 space, and justify aligned.

12. Conclusion
The word “Conclusion” is written with Times New Roman, font 12, uppercase in the first letter, bold, and aligned left and content of the “Conclusion” is written with Times New Roman, font 12, 1 space, and justify aligned.

13. References
The word “References” is written with Times New Roman, font 12, uppercase in the first letter, bold, and aligned left. Source of citations and bibliography must be the same. The writing format of a bibliography refers to the American Psychological Association (APA). Citation and bibliography writing are advised to use the Mendeley application.
